  • Experience as an IC and Research leader

Welcome to my portfolio. I’m a mixed-methods UX researcher with 10 years of experience across Meta and Google, studying how people discover, connect, and participate in large-scale social products.

I was born and raised in India. My hometown is on the southern coast (hence the coastal motifs throughout this site!). I started my career in code as a software developer, dabbled in design, and eventually found my way to research. I love working in small, nimble teams and believe in doing just enough research to answer the question, then making sure the answer changes what teams do. These days, I love tinkering with AI to build my own solutions and supercharge my research process, freeing me to focus on the parts I care about most.

At Meta, I have spent the last few years on the Messenger team. Most recently I’ve been working on Meta AI adoption and using AI to speed up our research workflows. In the past I’ve worked on several strategic initiatives like Messenger youth strategy, Messenger social features and early-stage content discovery. My experience spans IC and research leadership; As a research leader, I managed a small research team and partnered with cross-functional leaders on org-level decisions.

Before that, at Google, I led research for AdMob, a monetization platform for app developers. My work helped diagnose why the product was not the market leader, informed its platform strategy, and gave product, sales, and marketing teams a shared understanding of AdMob developers through widely adopted personas.
