Hello.
- Qual-leaning mixed-methods UXR
- AI-native research workflows
- Experience as an IC and Research leader
Welcome to my portfolio. I’m a mixed-methods UX researcher with 10 years of experience across Meta and Google, studying how people discover, connect, and participate in large-scale social products.
I was born and raised in India. My hometown is on the southern coast (hence the coastal motifs throughout this site!). I started my career in code as a software developer, dabbled in design, and eventually found my way to research. I love working in small, nimble teams and believe in doing just enough research to answer the question, then making sure the answer changes what teams do. These days, I love tinkering with AI to build my own solutions and supercharge my research process, freeing me to focus on the parts I care about most.
At Meta, I have both IC and leadership experience. As an IC, I shaped product strategy across Messenger through research on Meta AI adoption, social features such as Messenger Notes and Stories, and early-stage content discovery. As a research leader, I managed a small research team and partnered with cross-functional leaders on org-level decisions. I also ran a rapid research program used by more than 30 researchers across the organization.
Before that, at Google, I led research for AdMob, a monetization platform for app developers. My work helped diagnose why the product was not the market leader, informed its platform strategy, and gave product, sales, and marketing teams a shared understanding of AdMob developers through widely adopted personas.
